CONSULTATION - Proposal to Federate - FST Primary Schools Federation and Langton Primary School

The Governing Bodies of FST Primary Schools Federation (Comprised of : Foston Church of England VC Primary, Stillington Community Primary and Terrington Church of England VA Primary), and Langton Primary School are formally consulting on a proposal to federate, to become ‘North Yorkshire Rural Schools Federation’.

FST and Langton Governors have judged it is a good time to move from our current collaboration to a federation, to secure the existing partnership so that it can plan with confidence for a sustainable future. In all aspects other that governance, the existing partnership already operates like a federation.

The consultation will run from Wednesday 23 April 2025 to Thursday 5 June 2025.

We are asking parents and carers, staff and any interested members of our local communities to consider the Proposal Document and share your views with us. You can do this by completing and e-mailing the response form at the end of the document, or by returning a paper response form - available from the school office.
